Darrell leads RPS’ highly regarded cultural heritage service line and is also General Manager of the RPS Newcastle Office.

Possessing a multiplicity of skills garnered across several disciplines over a more than a decade, Darrell manages projects of all sizes across Australia and coordinates logistically difficult operations. He has a diverse set of Aboriginal and Historic cultural heritage skills combined with urban and regional planning credentials and qualifications in GIS spatial analysis and modelling. Darrell has managed many complex cultural heritage projects across a wide range of industries which includes extractive, utilities, infrastructure, urban planning, transport, energy and resources.

Realising early on the advantages of using high technology solutions to create high quality cultural heritage outcomes, Darrell has championed the use of advanced surveying, visualisation and geomatics techniques and equipment to make RPS Cultural Heritage the leading industry provider in this field.

Darrell has experience in remote locations having on ground experience at multiple project sites in North Western Australia and South West Queensland. He has conducted community consultation in communities spread between the Pilbara WA, Victoria, NSW and Queensland.
