The Group operates and is subject to tax in many different jurisdictions. It complies with all relevant tax laws and regulations and failure to do so could give rise to legal liability, financial loss and reputational damage.
The Group has in place internal controls to deal with tax and employs appropriately qualified resources through which it monitors and responds to the regulatory requirements of the jurisdictions in which it operates. We structure our operations and transactions in a way that aligns with commercial and economic activity. We use tax reliefs and incentives where available and we utilise them in the manner intended. We work with tax authorities in a collaborative, courteous and timely manner and in respect of disputed matters seek early agreement and certainty.
Countries where RPS is registered for tax include Australia, Canada, Germany, India, Ireland, Iraqi Kurdistan, Malaysia, Mexico, The Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Papua New Guinea, Qatar, Russia, Suriname, Sweden, UK and USA. RPS currently has permanent offices in all of these countries except for India, Mexico, Papua New Guinea, Qatar and Suriname where we are now only registered for tax purposes. RPS has a representative office in both Indonesia and the United Arab Emirates but we are not required to register for corporation tax in either country.”
