Andy Tritton

Andy is the Technical Director of RPS’ national lift engineering team of 19 consultants, lift test engineers and lift surveyors. Having been with RPS for over 10 years, Andy has a total of over 32 years’ experience. Offering a diverse range of experience from within the industry, Andy been involved in projects ranging from multi-million pound lift installations to advising clients in an expert witness capacity. Andy has responsibility for evaluating client requirements and ensuring the team deliver value engineered  and / or bespoke designs to meet both customer needs and the associated harmonised standards for vertical transportation.

James Thompson

James has 27 years' experience in the UK lift industry. As Associate, James is responsible for a team of consultant engineers who look after LOLER and SAFed and carry out supplementary tests every 5 and 10 years throughout the UK and ROI.

M&S is a key client and James’ role includes responsibility for overseeing the service delivery by contractors employed by M&S to service, maintain, repair and install a wide range of lifting and moving equipment over a portfolio of more than 900 stores. Key to his role is undertaking bi-monthly contract review meetings with each contractor to discuss compliance, managing KPIs and service delivery. His role also includes the procurement of new equipment on an annual basis, managing budgets and tenders.

John O’Keefe

John has over 37 years’ experience in the lift industry, initially having started as an Apprentice and progressing to executive board level appointments. His experience has been predominantly centred on the executive operational management of significantly sized organisations, delivering high value complex construction and modernisation projects along with the operational delivery of large maintenance portfolios for major players within the UK & ROI. John has acted as National Account Director for a major multi-national company with overall responsibility for all national framework agreements within the operation. John brings a wealth of knowledge to the team with a direct focus on safety, compliance, risk management and contractual delivery.
