RPS CgMs is a specialist heritage consultancy and is part of RPS group.

The Built Heritage team provides specialist heritage, planning and conservation advice. We advise on all aspects of built heritage and have extensive experience in the needs and requirements of both those who manage historic buildings and developers wishing to release their site’s potential. Our outstanding service is based on an informed understanding of issues and a commercial appreciation of the development process.

The team, the largest in the UK, comprises fully qualified built heritage specialists. These include conservation architects, buildings archaeologists, architectural historians and building surveyors. Many have backgrounds in local government, as conservation officers and planners, and with Historic England, thereby complementing the team’s unparalleled technical and commercial experience.

Jonathan heads up the Built Heritage team. He is a widely experienced and fully qualified heritage professional with a 30 year track record of success within heritage management and planning. This includes experience as a commercial contractor, heritage lecturer, senior local government officer and as a consultant.

Veronica Cassin

Veronica trained as an architect and has specialised in heritage conservation for over twelve years. Her experience spans the disciplines of design, construction, planning and conservation. She has worked in local government and across a variety of sectors in private practice.

Louise Ryan

Louise leads on the team’s provision of townscape and visual impact assessments. She has advised on a wide range of development schemes ranging from listed building consents, development within the setting of heritage assets, tall buildings, major regeneration and national strategic infrastructure projects.
