RPS CgMs secured planning permission from the London Borough of Lambeth for a part 33, part 37 residential-led tower with commercial uses at the lower floors.
The approved scheme comprises 219 residential units with a mix of retail and office uses at the lower floors, and parking and servicing provided over two basement levels. The open space requirements are provided through a number of sky courts at various levels throughout the tower, which also adds architectural detail, along with roof level amenity space and podium level play space. Careful consideration was also given to the creation of new public realm at ground level.
The grant of planning permission follows a constructive pre-application process, with planning, design and housing officers from LB Lambeth, undertaken as part of our Planning Performance Agreement. Pre-application discussions were also undertaken with the GLA, and public consultation held with the local community.
The Planning Committee granted approval after a GLA referral and the successful completion of a S106 Agreement.
