PEICE was founded in 1998, and delivers a wide range of petroleum training courses internationally, particularly in Canada, and the US. The business provides 123 short classroom-based courses (publicly and in-house), and 19 live, interactive web-based seminars across the petroleum industry for up-, mid- and downstream activity.
The training covers a broad discipline base with specifically designed courses in:
- Drilling, completions and workovers
- Exploration (geology/geophysics/exploitation) and land
- Finance and economics
- Heavy oil and oil sands
- Leadership, management, relational and personal development
- Operations and oil & gas processing facilities and pipelines
- Petroleum refining and petrochemicals
- Oil & gas production and optimisation
- Reservoir engineering and petroleum reserves.
“The acquisition of PEICE extends the geographical reach and capability of our existing training business. This remains a growth market, as technical training continues to be important for most of our E&P clients” says Alan Hearne, Chief Executive "The acquisition extends RPS’ geographical reach for energy training delivery."
The founder and joint owner of PEICE, Domenic Mancuso, and all current PEICE staff also join RPS to work with our existing energy training business in the US and UK.
