Home Safe – health and safety in our AAP business

Our AAP business launched their Home Safe campaign in 2017.

Our people work with clients solving complex problems on a daily basis and we have a responsibility to ensure they get home safe each day. To support this, our AAP business launched their Home Safe campaign in 2017.

This new whole of business Health and Safety program aims to ensure that no matter which area of the business someone works in, or whether they are in the field or the office, that they:

• Know how to work safely
• Understand and embrace the role they play in improving RPS’ safety performance
• Have access to the training and resources they need to identify and manage risks before incidents occur
• And above all, that they go home safe and injury-free each day.

The risks we face are often as complex as the problems we aim to solve, so the first phase of the program was focused on education, raising awareness of health and safety and creating a safe work culture.

This involved team briefings, a video from the CEO and a colleague communication campaign.

The program is also supported by a dedicated Sharepoint site, where our colleagues can easily access key policies, manuals and forms all in one place.
