Riverstone Scheduled Lands
RPS supports the transformation of Riverstone’s paper subdivisions into modern residential lots
RPS provided expert project management and surveying services to transform part of the historic Riverstone Scheduled Lands into modern residential lots, overcoming significant legal, environmental, and stakeholder challenges.
RPS' solution: Expertise in project management and surveying
Drawing on extensive experience, RPS’ specialists managed the project lifecycle, overseeing budgeting, scheduling, and stakeholder engagement. Our team led the preparation and submission of all necessary applications to statutory authorities and councils, including navigating the Subdivision Certificate Application process.
Surveyors conducted:
- Essential cadastral works
- Re-established property boundaries; and
- Ensured compliance with legal and titling requirements.
RPS also negotiated special remediation arrangements with Blacktown City Council, which reduced costs and enabled the development to proceed despite environmental complications.
RPS drives successful redevelopment of Riverstone lots
Through careful management and strategic problem-solving, RPS delivered a successful outcome for Landcom. The first stage of the project saw 84 outdated narrow land parcels transformed into 100 modern residential lots, complete with new roads and essential services.
This accomplishment marks a significant milestone in the Riverstone Scheduled Lands development, setting a precedent for future redevelopment projects across New South Wales. With a total team of 15 surveyors, including registered surveyors, RPS played a critical role in transforming a controversial, complex, and environmentally impacted site into a thriving residential community.
